Everyone’s skin is .


We have different skin types and colours, and goals, and some habits that are not skin-friendly – all of which the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with endless treatment and skincare  out there, and the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.


If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more confident in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation


Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any  skin  and what your skin goals are. We  that information with a full skin and assessment, so we can create the right treatment and plan for you.


During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully your skin, assessing the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate such as acne or pigmentation. Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your plan.


We’ll then your daily and monthly and treatment plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of  peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home.  on your goals or the of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or  nurse. And if you are in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.


To secure an appointment, we will require a deposit. Your credit or debit card will be your booking. consultations are free of charge to a £25 deposit. In-person are priced at £50. Please refer to our for more information.

Book a general skin consultation with a nurse or . Your skin will be fully examined for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised  plan will be . Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your concerns and create a recommended treatment plan.


The is completely free, but we do a £25 deposit to secure your consultation. You won’t be if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your appointment in line with our  policy.​


The cost of your and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but treatment can start from £59, on your clinic.


Your consultation will be with one of our experienced specialist nurses or practitioners with extensive knowledge of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. Please note these consultations with a doctor or dermatologist are chargeable and do a refundable* deposit – please check the consultation price before . We can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber for an   if you are about the signs of ageing. These consultations are free, but we do a refundable* £50 deposit to secure your . Please check our  for more information.


We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the if you wish.


Our expert skin will ask a variety of which are designed to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:


You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we recommend that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time assessing your skin. We cannot fully examine your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or sensitivity.


Step 1 – We will have a chat with you about everything you don’t love about your skin, whether you have any particular concerns and what your goals are to help us create your personalised plan.


Step 2 – Before photos will be taken, allowing us to track your throughout your treatment plan.


Step 3 – Your skin will be under a skin * which will indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested, sun-damaged etc. Our will also touch your skin to allow us to assess the texture, and sensitivity of your skin.


Step 4 – Our expert will create a treatment plan for you, which could both treatments and an product regime. We may recommend several options including peels, microneedling, laser treatment or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. If you have a more severe concern, such as cystic acne, we will refer you to a doctor. If you are interested in anti-ageing injectables to boost your confidence, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber.
