Sara and Hayden Vale were victorious at The Block's auctions on Sunday night.
But fans of the long-running renovation series were left unhappy as the show's 'villains' took out the top spot in the finale.
Viewers took to to share their dismay at 'nasty' people winning over teams some fans deemed more deserving.

The social media user said if there is a 'nasty' couple next year he won't be tuning in to The Block.
Meanwhile, another said: 'For the first time, I was delighted the IQ3 recording cut out before the end because I could not abide those a**e hats being all winning and stuff.'

Viewers took to Twitter to share their dismay.
Another viewer called the result 'disappointing'.
'Of all the couples, they were the worst. Their behaviour was terrible, they were lazy and they did nothing but whine and complain. Very disappointing outcome when the others worked so much harder,' the Twitter user wrote.
'I'm so sad that those spoilt brats won The Block,' a further tweet read. 
While not everyone agreed with the couple's win, some were also quick to question the judges throughout the season.

Sara and Hayden were repeatedly slammed by the judges - and at one point were offered personal advice by Shaynna Blaze after getting the lowest score three weeks in a row.
However, their apartment at The Gatwick fetched $3,020,000 - the highest price at auction.
The parents walked away from the show with a $545,000 profit, perfect-basements landing them in the top spot.

 They also claimed the grand prize of an additional $100,000 - netting them a total of $645,000.
A Twitter user wrote: 'Perhaps the #9blockau needs new judges next year since they don't seem to know s*** this year.'
Another echoed the sentiment that it may be time to look for new judges.
